The very first AGM of the Coombe Wood School Parents / Carers Teachers Students Association (PCTA) will take place on Wednesday 12 December 2018 at 6.30pm in the Hall.

At this meeting, the PTCA Committee will be elected for the first year and we are inviting nominations for the following posts:

Chair: Vice-Chair: Secretary: Treasurer: Vice Treasurer: Marketing & Communications lead

The Chairperson’s main responsibilities include running all PCTA meetings, overseeing any event sub-committees and maintaining the momentum for fundraising throughout the school year.

The Vice-Chair co-ordinates teams of volunteers and acts as deputy to the Chair, particularly to progress broader initiatives (for example working on the charity registration).

The Secretary’s roles are note taking at meetings, producing and distributing all PCTA paperwork and general administration tasks.

The Treasurer is responsible for coordinating and recording all PCTA monies including float provision, banking monies, issuing cheques and producing regular simple accounts.

The Vice-Treasurer acts as a deputy to the Treasurer

The Marketing & Communications lead co-ordinates all social media, advertising events and communications on behalf of the PCTA.

These Elected Officers plus other ordinary members will work together as a team to ensure the smooth management of the PCTA and provide a hugely beneficial contribution to the future of Coombe Wood School.  They will rely heavily on the continuing support of all parents and carers for our increasing success.
