Last year Coombe Wood School worked with Tender UK on the RE:SET project as part of a wider project with the Nurturing and Inclusive Schools Programme.
We are extremely proud to announce that Coombe Wood School has been recognised as a Healthy Relationships Champion School by Tender UK as part of their RESET Inclusive and Nurturing schools programme.
This programme is supported by the Mayor of London and the award is in recognition of the work undertaken by the students to promote healthy relationships. Coombe Wood School has worked with Tender UK on the programme supporting the students personal development and RSHE curriculum. Providing students with bespoke workshops, mentoring, curriculum reviews and co-curricular opportunities to understand, promote and healthy relationships, manage risk taking behaviours and celebrate a nurturing and inclusive culture.
The award was presented to Headteacher-Nicole Williams, Tionne Reid-Subject Lead of Media, Pearl Cooke-Head of Social Sciences and Assistant Headteacher Inclusion- Claudia Boateng by Laura Watson, Tender UK mentor in recognition of the excellence seen at CWS.
