Please enOn Thursday, March 27th, Year 7 and 8 Coombe Wood students enjoyed the BAE Systems Roadshow, focusing on AI and its connection to future careers. The session highlighted STEM jobs, with links to BAE Systems, the Royal Air Force, and the Royal Navy. Students were amazed by "Fluffy," a robotic AI dog, and worked with AI to create song lyrics and generate ideas for a music video - resulting in a finished song and video!

After the event, most students reported a better understanding of how AI relates to future careers. Nearly two-thirds said they felt inspired to consider a career in Science, Technology, Engineering, Computing, or Mathematics (STEM), and many recognised valuable skills employers seek.
